Google e-conomy SEA 2021

Every year, Google, Bain & Co. and Temasek release the e-Conomy SEA report — a look at how the internet economy is shaping Southeast Asia. With the pandemic pushing the world online, the 2021 edition felt especially significant. The brief was to build a visual identity around it, anchored by the theme of connectivity.
The concept, Crossroads of Communication, plays on two worlds meeting — the internet and the physical. The lines read as both an aerial highway and a network of internet nodes, converging at the 'e' to form a crossroads into the pillars of the e-commerce world: ride-hailing, digital payments, food delivery, streaming. The turquoise blue ties it together — representing technology that's always moving, always evolving.
