Brief - How can Penguin make books and reading an unmissable part of pop culture?

Idea - 46% of people aged 16-24 in the UK don’t prefer reading in their free time. With even fewer classic literature being picked up every day — the youth tends to feel distant from the tone of these century-old texts.


On the other hand, subcultures like the world of skate and hype are a way of life for them. So, we take to the streets, hosting an exclusive ‘drop’ in collaboration with Palace Skateboards. The Lit Drop project aims to create an interactive, literary experience of London – seen through the eyes of 19th-century authors and their greatest works.
